We are happy to confirm our first workshop in The Netherlands! The event will take place at De Theaterschool in Amsterdam and is organized in cooperation with the national film academy.

About the Theaterschool
What makes the Theaterschool at the AHK interesting is the dialogue between the different programmes that encompass the entire breadth of the theatre arts. There are possible relationships between dance and theatre and the creative team of director, sound and light designer, producer and designer. Currently the performing students work intensively with students from other theatre disciplines, but not too often with the film students. This seems a missed chance since the film department is located right across the street! We (and many others in both the theatre and film department) think that cooperation for threatre actors and film directors should be available within the program of the AHK. We are trying to contribute to this by organizing our film acting workshop during which we involve both film directors (bachelor and master students) and those coming from performing arts (actors/performers).
Facilities
The workshop will largely take place inside one of the beautiful studio’s of the Theaterschool. The last two days, when we plan to shoot the earlier rehearsed scenes, are taking place at the film academy studio’s. De wonderful Theaterschool is designed specifically to meet the needs of dance and theatre training. It is great place to work physically; executing our physical exercises and games. The film academy has great film studio’s, whit more facilities than we will ever need.
